A tiny status page that watches a handful of endpoints and explains incidents without enterprise complexity.

A POSSIBLE BUILD DIRECTION

From prompt to prototype.

Outcode’s editorial suggestions for this idea. Adapt the scope to your skills, available data and the people you want to help.

A small first version

Monitor one HTTP endpoint on a schedule and publish a status page with its last successful check, recent response times and manually written incident updates.

How to test it

Use a test endpoint to simulate timeouts, slow responses and recovery. Verify that a brief network failure does not trigger repeated incident notifications.

A direction for a larger project

Add checks from independent locations and study how confirmation rules change false alarms and detection delay. Keep monitoring failures separate from application downtime.
